In this technical note, the effect of glazing on the mean radiant temperature and thermal comfort in rooms is analysed. It is shown that a tall and narrow window performs better than a square window in terms of indoor thermal comfort. Also, double-glazing is effective in reducing the thermal discomfort due to radiant asymmetry.
